Do you long for peace?

Where does your peace come from?

Jesus was called the PRINCE OF PEACE (Is. 9:6)
But do you think of HIM when longing for peace?

Often times we need peace to counter balance this dark depressing world! But do we truly seek it from the right place?

Psalm 9:9 even says He is the REFUGE to the oppressed also known as heavily burdened also known as US! Me and YOU! We need to come to HIM for peace! Come to HIM to be our REFUGE!

Psalm 9:9 also says He is our STRONGHOLD in times of trouble! period. when times of trouble hit..go straight to our REFUGE and cry out to GOD for strength and PEACE!

I find that when we have a busy weekend (or a super busy day) I need peace to fill my heart before I go to bed. I need to renew my strength..recharge my heart...have peace in all areas of my life or I will completely loose focus on WHY I am here on this earth! I get so caught up in ME ME ME that I don't even acknowledge Jesus! or the NEED I have in my heart for Jesus! I have been lighting candles at night...WHY? (thanks for asking) because they relax me...and for some WEIRD reason I put my focus back on Jesus and enjoy some quite time just thanking and praying to HIM! Resting all my cares on HIM! I am not saying that candles bring you closer to Jesus or that candles are to be lit in order to pray to Jesus or that candles are the way to JESUS! But what I am saying is that if you don't have YOUR OWN personal quite time you won't be able to call out to Jesus to be your STRONGHOLD! REFUGE! PRINCE OF PEACE!

MINT LEAVES IN MY GARDEN!!!!!

So on Sunday after Jeff and I went to church and to my parents house for breakfast i thought i would work on the planter by my walkway to my front door. I wanted to pull out these really ugly looking plants that the builder had planted Jeff kept telling me not to do it because it was going to turn into more of task then i thought it was. I thought he was wrong!!! SO i started pulling out some of these plants and one of them just happened to be Mint!!!!!!!!! Well i got 3 plants pulled out and all i see is roots and roots and ROOTS OF MINT LEAVES!!!!!!!! it was so much work to get a little bit of the mint leaves out of the ground i didn't even finish pulling the rest of the plants out of the planter........ SO all of that just to say DONT ever plant mint in your garden!!!!!!!!!! it is not fun to Pull out!!!!!! well i hope you are all having a great week!!!! See you on Sunday

The Chronicles of WEIRDNESS!!!!

Alright well I just have to start a new series called The Chronicles of Weirdness! Seriously these occurrences are just bizarre!

Alright so Baby B is absolutely, gorgeously, amazingly, beautiful right? Well apparently everyone in the area thinks so too. Anytime, ANYTIME Mrs. T goes anywhere with Baby B we get the weirdest confrontations I've ever seen. These confrontations range from a drunk lady bum trying to kiss Baby B, to a creepy old man seriously asking to hold her in Wal-Mart, to a jehovahs witness telling me I'm a bad dad while touching Baby B's face WHILE WE WERE EATING AT A RESTAURANT! Now I know what you're thinking, that this couldn't really happen but it does and it's seriously bizarre. Throughout my life I've known several baby's and seen hundreds of moms with their children, but I've never ever seen anything like the weirdness that is attracted to Mrs. T and Baby B!

The one Chronicle I'll leave you with is this........ Today while shopping at Wal-Mart Mrs. T was approached by 18 yes 18 different people all saying how cute and adorable Baby B is and out of the 18 there was 1 old man who asked what aisle Baby B was found on so he could pick one up!! That's just stinkin awkward! Not only did these 18 people come up and interrupt Mrs. T's shopping and make her feel completely awkward but most of them felt they had to tell Mrs. T their whole life story! Weird just WEIRD!

Well today was the first day of

Girl Time!

due to Beaumont School District being on SPRING BREAK the attendance was well low!

We did a little review/ intro to the book of James and just chit chatted about life and what we are struggling with!

We are contimplating moving from 6:30am to 3:30 pm.....thinking that it would be better for us girls....to not have to get up that early...even though I AM SOOO a morning person..I have to understand that not everybody is like me!! perfect that its..i am perfect incase you forgot! Just kidding! I know I am so flawless oh i mean full of flaws!

Anyway..I'll keep you posted to let you know if we are for sure moving to 3:30pm!!

We had a leaders meeting last night and it was amazing! We all spent time talking, eating, planning and most of all praying for our youth! We heard such a great report from this past week's winter camp...more on that in a future post...but I just wanted you to know that we, the leaders, feel blessed to be a part of this amazing WORK that God is doing!

Sunday Night Reflection

Today we saw in The Lounge that GOD is not only great but He holds ALL things together. Colossians 1:17 - He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

We saw today that all matter is made up of atoms which are protons and electrons right? Well if like charges repel and opposite charges attract how do the atoms stay together? The laws of electricity say that the atom should repel and explode. So what holds them together? You guessed it GOD! This is soo cool because every day our students are blasted with biology teachers and school saying we came from evolution. But the evidence that something else is involved is SO great we can't deny it. Today we got awesome feedback from our youth and were totally blessed to see God moving among them.

Also we had a bake sale for our upcoming high school winter camp and had an awesome turn out. We had home baked cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and all kinds of sweet treats. I guess people liked them because all our stuff disappeared. Thank you for all your support!

Speaking of High School Winter Camp IT'S THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!! That's right THIS WEEKEND. So what does that mean? Well it means we have 1 spot, 1 spot, 1 spot available so get on it and let us kno!!!!

She has been working hard to get it in your hands! It should be printed in the next few weeks! Mini Queen Bee said there are some pretty cool events planned this year (beach trips, pool parties, bowling, ice skating, sports day and much more)

Geeezee! I don't recommend telling Miss Mini Queen Bee any secrets...I might have to let her boss know that she might not be the best choice for a new employee..

Supercross

I am so stoked I get to work for speed channel this weekend at Supercross. The big down side right now is that it is supposed to rain Friday and Saturday so it is going to be a muddy mess. This will mean that I am going to be a muddy mess. This also means that there will be some good racing. The coolest thing is that God gave me this cool opportunity to do this. I also get to be right in the middle of all the madness down on the floor with all the racers.

I love racing dirt bikes in the rain and mud. When I was 17 I raced in the muddiest race ever. The mud was so deep most of the pro's were even getting stuck in the mud. I was winning my class and about fourth overall on the last lap when I crashed. about five miles from the finish I had my bike tapped out, (going as fast as the bike would go) going down a hill, and bam next thing I know I am laying upside down in a ditch with my legs bent over my head. Two guys stopped and pulled my bike out and I hopped back on and finished the race. My back hurt so back I could hardly walk.

I raced for two weeks barely crawling back and forth from the couch to the bathroom. I finally decided to go to the doctor and found out that I had some compound fractures in my back.

So everyone set your dvr to record supercross on Sunday at 11:30 its going to be a good race so check it out. Oh and you better be rooting for the green bike #2 Ryan Villopoto.

TRASH CANS WERE TALKING

This weekend was Jr High Winter Camp up at Forest Home.

I must admit that I was pretty disappointed in our Jr High Girls..only one girl wanted to attend, but we needed to have atleast 2 girls-to make it work-but no body else wanted to attend..and wana know what the killer was? IT WAS FREE! The girls really missed out at this amazing camp!

Mini Queen B and I went up on Saturday to spend the day with the boys and Mr. T. It was fun to go up and see how they were doing. The Jr High Boys were enjoying themselves and their free time! (During free time they got to go on the zip line (twice) play some penguin game, eat at the snack shack, go for a hike, play ultimate frisbee, eat candy, and just run around!)

They played so hard during free time that by the time dinner came, they were all exhausted! In fact, one boy actually fell asleep at the dinner table! Seriously, Im not joking! We thought he was just resting his eyes..but then when one boy tapped him (after about 15 min of resting) he sat up and announced I WAS HAVING THE WEIRDEST DREAM!! TRASH CANS WERE TALKING!!

I made my way home last night, worked for about an hour, did some laundry, and went to bed.

something I am proud of..

Ok so this week I was trying to accomplish something:

Get Mini Queen Bee to take naps in her crib-without being rocked to sleep-without being held-without having any human contact...

So far so good..she will lay down and grab her cozy blanket, suck her pacifier and look at her lil light display til she falls asleep. She will whine/cry once-when her pacifier aka 'binky' falls out, but I go in, pop it right back in her mouth without any words, and she is just fine!

We are trying to make her a lil more independent of mommy and daddy-so that when we aren't around-she doesn't FREAK!

Carls Jr.

Okay So last night I went to a "focus group". You ask what in the world is a focus group?

Somewhere I or someone else signed me up at this research group to get paid for my opinion.

In this case I think that Carl's Jr. wanted to know how they can improve their sales for the late night hours. So Carls will hire this company to find out what people want. The research company then calls people in their database to find out if they meet the criteria. For instance they were looking for people that ate fast food late at night especially Carls. Once they have the number of people they would like to sample they next put people randomly in groups. These groups then go into a room where you are asked questions about the product.

The group I was assigned to were all men and there was six of us. The woman asked us questions about fast food and what we crave late at night. I could go on and on about all the questions but I just wanted to share with you what I did last night. The coolest part is that they gave me some money for two meals and paid me for just hanging out and answering some questions for an hour or so. It finally paid to eat bad yes!!!

Tomorrow is Friday Oh yeah almost time to hang with the lounge peoples!!!

Just about every other week I meet with Pastor Rod for lunch! We usually meet at his 2nd home:
We also like to meet at Rosa Maria's but it's not a very 'meeting friendly' place.

Anyway-
We talk about youth; how it's going, what we can improve on, what events are coming up, the leaders, retreats, conferences and much more! I look forward to our meetings because we don't just talk shop! we also talk about life! Pastor Rod always shows an interest in our family, in Mini Queen Bee, in our home, and in our friends! He probably doesn't know how much it means to me, to us, that he cares to ask how our personal life is going as well. Queen Bee and Mini Queen Bee sometimes come to the meetings too! This week, since the weather was so nice, we sat outside! Mini Queen Bee loves to be out side, in the wind, enjoying the fresh air!
So yea! I love to meet with Pastor Rod, I always leave the meetings re-fired up on things to do for youth!
Speaking of Mini Queen Bee- Here are a couple new pics of her. We started on her first solids this week! It was fun! (but after a lil upset tummy later that night we have decided to push it back a few more weeks before we continue on the food route) enjoy!

Do you take advantage of all the opportunities that God puts in your path??

Just about every week I have to make a trip to our local Beaumont Staples. Around Halloween time- an employee there told me about how his daughter-about 2 weeks older than Baylee-had just been hospitalized for heart problems. As I left there I thought nothing of it...

I returned weekly... I didn't see him- then I saw him again mid-November...he told me how he had just lost his lil baby girl! My heart broke as he looked at Baylee with a different look then other strangers give! He would say hello to her and try to get her to laugh...again...my heart broke!

After loading my 'stuff' into the trunk-I sat there and prayed for this man. A few tears fell down my face as I thanked God for my healthy baby! My beautiful baby! My happy easy going baby! I thought- I will pray for this man and his WIFE often!

Last week at Staples- I ran into the man again- He again made Baylee laugh and commented on how cute she was- I said- you know- I've been praying for you and your wife!! I am sure the holidays were rough! He said WOW! THANK YOU! You have no idea how much that means to me! and I went on my way...

I am not braggin...I am reminding you to take advantage of all the opportunities you have to pray for people God puts in your path!
Did somebody cut you off today-pray for them instead of boiling in anger!!
Did it take longer at Starbucks then you expected? Pray for the car infront of you, behind you, the employees...
Did the grocery clerk have a bad attitude? Pray that God could soften their heart!

There website is soo cool-you can customize your order and they will then customize the nutrition info. EX: They let you substitute a Whole Wheat Bun instead of reg bun. Take off Mayo-add mustard- take out fries-all that jazz!

So before you go to Red Robin again-check out your fav item and see how many calories are in it! There are some better options there-so it is possible to stick to your weight loss plan and dine there like normal!

Sunday night thoughts

Today was a great day! I really missed teaching and hangin with the youth during the month of December! It was great to see all your smiling faces!

I loved seeing the room full! There was only 1 extra chair!!

I loved small groups! I heard that the girls had a good time in small groups too! We love to just gettin down to it and applying God's word to our daily lives!

I pray you took yesterdays word to your heart! I know it was heavy but I pray you will take a stand and not be a 'faker' anymore! That you will be a true example of what Christ is! And represent Him well!

I Think God Love's Off Roadin!!!!

Now for those of you who have actually been off-roadin, you know that as long as you know what you're doing it's the most awesome thing you can do. Now with that said my brothers and I have been off roadin since we were really young. I actually learned how to drive in the dirt long before I had a drivers license. Our dad used to take us off roadin and shootin every time he came to town. So I guess the saying goes..... "The more things change the more they stay the same." Because my oldest brother and I still go off roadin and shootin almost every weekend! It's an awesome time to just let go and have a blast. These pics are from our lil hobby this last weekend. 10 things I love about this time of year...

10. The lights! Looking at Christmas lights never gets old to me! We could go drive around every night and I wouldn't get board!

9. The family! Visiting together. Eating together. Catching up! Reflecting on old times!

8. Eating. Who doesn't love to eat all the fun treats and yummy dinners!

7. Friends! Parties. trips to the snow. Seeing eachother's Christmas decorations.

6. Giving! I love to give gifts! However it is a bit nerve wracking-wondering if you got them a 'good' gift!

5. Celebrating Mini Queen Bee's 1st Christmas! I love watching her grow! 4 months has gone by fast! She loves looking at the lights! I can't wait to watch her open all her gifts-with the help of mommy and daddy!!

4. Shopping some amazing deals! Things are always at their cheapest this time of year! We got some amazing online deals at costco.com, babycenter.com, and a website that makes custom ummm things (cant say what they are incase our family is reading this!)

3. Traditions. Keeping some of the old but I love to make new ones! Thompson 6 Pack has been thinking up a few new ones!

2. Reflecting on memories! I keep being reminded of some great things that have taken place the last few years and I am just so blessed! I love my family, husband, baby, friends, house and and and...I could go on forever!

1. Taking time to celebrate Jesus! Life gets so crazy-especially at this time of year- so stopping to remember that Jesus was born to come save this yucky world is just amazing to me!!!

Man o Man do I love my Family! Every day I wake up I have something to look forward to. This last week Mini Queen Bee started holding her bottle all by herself!! Not all the time but she's getting there. I just can't believe how fast the time has gone with her. Every day there is something different and exciting she can do.

Also Queen Bee is seriously the best wife God has ever given, she is soo awesome I am truly blessed to have her. Queen Bee-I love you more and more every day!!! Thank you for being an awesome mother and an even better wife. I LOVE YOU!!! Queen Bee you truly are a Proverbs 31 Woman!

White as snow

How cool was it to get snow this week? Jessica does not usually like the snow since she lived in the mountains her whole life. The other night it got really quiet outside when it stopped raining. Jessica and I looked at each other and said man it is really peaceful. She took a look outside and saw it was snowing. Right then the sliding door flew open and she was out there dancing in it. I was really surprised. I love the snow when I am inside looking out at it. It is so beautiful when everything is turned white. This morning I went out side and everything was white the roof tops, lawns, cars, and the mountains.

This made me think about a Isiah 1:18 18 "Come now, let us reason together,"
says the LORD.
"Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.
It is so awesome that Jesus died on the cross so that our sins could be made white as snow.

Well I just thought I would write out the top 10 things that I stress over...

1. Being a better wife to Mr. T

3. A messy house- I can't relax til it's clean!
4. Having enough hours in my week to get everything done!
5a. Finishing Christmas shopping
5b. Buying the 'Right' gift!
6. Then wrapping allll those gifts after shopping!
7. Not leaving anybody out-at parties-in Christmas cards-phone calls...
8. Providing Mini Queen Bee with her every need!
9. Losing more weight from the pregnancy
10. Treasuring Mini Queen Bee's every move-she's growing soooo fast- already 4 months old!

Psalm 55:22 says "Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall."

Wow! Remember to cast your cares and worries and stressed to the Lord because he won't let us, the righteous, fall! amazing!

KEEPING THE FAITH

Do you ever get bogged down, overwhelmed, distracted, or just tired? Yeah we have all been there. When we get to that point we want to quite, or slow down. We start feeling sorry for ourselves. I wonder how Paul felt writing this letter to Timothy. Paul is saying here Timothy don't give up. Stay focused. Things are going to fly at you that are tough. Don't slow down. I want to be like Paul. I want to be able to say that I have fought the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. Instead of focusing on our problems around us when need to look to God.

Where are you at? Are you pushing hard, keeping the faith, trying to finish the race?

Well today we all attended the main sanctuary with our families! I had mixed feelings cuz I did very much so enjoy being fed by Pastor Ridge, but I also missed the one on one time with the youth!

Queen Bee and Mini Queen Bee came home Friday night and I am so glad they are back! Life just wasn't the same without them here! I surprised them by putting up Christmas lights on our house! I missed both of them so much!

Today was a relaxing and accomplishing day for the Thompson family! We got some things done around the house, had a home cooked meal for dinner, and are now just watching a movie!

I hope you all have a great week! It was great to see a lot of you at church today!

Lonely I'm So Lonely

Boo Hoo!! Well Y'all here I am all alone. Thats right Mini Queen Bee and Queen Bee are both gone. They will be in Georgia until Friday night, which means I'll be spending Thanksgiving all alone. Not only that but this is the first time I have been away from both of them. :( That's ok tho because I have to work that night anyways, so Jannae went to spend some QT with the Family Fam! Pray that they get home safely and I don't die from loneliness J.K. but seriously pray for My Nae Nae and Baby Bay! Thanks guys love ya!!

Just wanted to remind you that God always provides! I think we loose track of this most of the time--we start to attack our daily tasks on our own--stress--worry and forget to consult God and what HE has in store for us! He always provides for our every NEED! I know that's hard because a lot of time we confuse NEED with WANT! But remember-God's always in control! He's not a God of chaos! Keep putting your trust in Him on daily basis--minute by minute basis if you need! Just do it!!

Please pray for Mr. T! He has been really sick all day! Throwing up and all that jazz! 102.2 fever! Just miserable! Can't hold anything down! Pray God keeps be and Mini Queen Bee from whatever he has!

Today was the strangest day in the Lounge. Mr. T was sick, Jeff and Jessica were gone so well it was just me and Mini Queen Bee! Thankfully Kristen Mulkey stepped in and helped out today! I want to thank all of you Loungers for hangin in there with me today! Remember what Psalms 5:1-3 says:

8 things on my mind...

1. How blessed I am to be able to work from home and take of my baby at the same time! She has been such a great baby and has adjusted to this new 'working schedule' pretty well! I am so thankful that I get to raise my baby and have a great job!!

2. How much I appreciate Mr. T! He works so hard at his job and at church! He is such a great daddy and husband! I love you!

3. How thankful I am that Jesus' forgives me each and every day! How I am given a fresh start each time I ask! How much I just love that HE never leaves me! Thank you Jesus for being my strength!

4. That being a mom is much much much harder work then I thought but way (beyond way!!) more rewarding then I thought too! I have a great baby who seems like she's growing up so fast-almost 3 months already!!

5. How much my friends mean to me! I have such great old friends, from Calvary Chapel Redlands but I have really made some great friendships in the last year from Sanctuary that I am extremely blessed by and greatful for! You know who you are...but really I am so thankful for you!

6. I love my family! Thompson 6 Pack!! We are such a tight group (yup kinda like a 6 pack!) and I am beyond blessed to have each of them in my life/heart!

7. SOooo thankful for my house! It is amazing! I love it! I don't know how I ever paid quarters to do my laundry! I don't know how I ever crammed a crib, desk, dresser, ironing board, Mr. T's clothes, suitcases, changing table, filing cabinet, lamp and much more into 1 room at our apartment! I love having room for storage! Washing clothes whenever I want! Being as load as I want! I love my garage! I love everything!! I don't know how we survived in our apartment for almost 2 yearS!

8.Thanksgiving 2008= EXCITING! Mini Queen Bee and I get to fly to Georgia to seem my parents for a few days and celebrate Thanksgiving with them! Mr. T has to work this Thanksgiving so we decided it would be good for me to make a trip out to visit my parents!Mr T will be missed for sure-he's working!

The "Call" Into Leadership!

Matthew 4:1-3a Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. During that time the devil came....

This part of scripture comes before Jesus starts his Ministry.

When we really dig into this scripture we see some peculiar things.

1. Jesus was LEAD by the spirit.

Jesus wasn't tricked into the desert, He wasn't doing something wrong and deserved the desert, and the devil..... Didn't make Him go into the desert. GOD LED JESUS INTO THE DESERT. So many times in our lives when we are in a spiritual desert we automatically think either the devil did it or God is mad at us.

2. Into the wilderness!

You see God purposely led Jesus there to prepare Him for his ministry.

3. And the devil came.

Just like us soooo many times the devil will come at just the right time and try to kick us while were down. Jesus was tempted in every way imaginable and He stood firm in God!

The point I’m trying to get at is, we as “leaders” won’t get any special treatment just because we are believers. If God didn’t even give His son a break, why would we be any different? You see God WILL send us to the desert and this is why.....

1. The desert crucifies false spirituality. It won’t let us say things like, when I became a Christian everything was hunky dory and we lived happily ever after! Romans 12:3

2. The desert reinforces our dependence on God. It makes us give up everything we are. Our pride, arrogance, self-righteousness, and flesh. Psalm 27:9

3. The desert prepares us for ministry, or new levels of ministry! You see God will send us there on purpose to strengthen us, to remind us we can’t do it without Him, and to prepare our heart for the road ahead. We see in Luke 4:14, Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit’s power.

So you see the wilderness is ABSOLUTELY necessary to wash away all flesh and to gain a whole hearted dependence on God. So for those of you going through a desert, dry spot, wilderness, valley, hang in there. Don’t give up God is there with you. Remember those of us in ministry and all believers for that matter, don’t retreat but push on because God will be glorified when you come out of the desert. Allow The Holy Spirit to do It’s job!! I really mean this Don’t give up, Don’t give in, GOD is good, allow Him to mold you. God loves you and promises to restore you!

Monday Night Sittin In Sacramento Airport

Wow, just WOW we had such an awesome time at this convention. Seriously I have had some pretty awesome experiences with the Lord but nothing even compares to this weekend. There were 2800 youth workers which meant there were about 2800 believers all together. This experience has taught us sooo much about ourselves, The Lounge, and the church in general. There were a ton of awesome speakers and a ton of great seminars. We learned SOOOOO much I can't wait to get back and totally share everything we have learned. Apart form the learning and having fun, we were totally refreshed. I'm not talking about a little refresher, I'm talking about a life altering FRESHNESS! Anyways as you can tell I'm stoked and Blessed.

Well Jannae, Baylee and I arrived yesterday in Sacramento to attend our very first Youth Workers Convention. This is a national event that people from all over the U.S. attend. We have met people from Walawala Washington, Wisconsin, Oregon, Canada, Milwaukie, Alaska, and from all over California. There are over 2,300 people here. The second we stepped into the main conference meeting area we felt God’s presence. The conference kicked off with Mercy Me yesterday and they did an amazing job! Worship has been so amazing as well, which is led by Lincoln Brewster! It is such a blessing to worship and fellowship with so many other believers, and not just believers, but youth workers that are in the same shoes we are, experiencing the same things we are, struggling with the same things we are! The speaker yesterday was Sherwin Bishop and he brought it home..more on him later! There’s so much to say about this place but I a) don’t have much time and b) don’t know where to start!! Today has been such a blessing as well. We had a hard time getting up since Baylee woke us up in the middle of the night-but it was worth making it to the early seminar once we finally got all ready! We learned and were reminded about the basic things that make up a healthy youth ministry! Well I have so much more I want to say but I need to get going to the next seminar we are attending on Small Groups led by Doug Fields! Super stoaked! Pray we get rest and have energy to attend all the seminars God wants us to!

Yup thats right-im crying! I start back to work today & am pretty bummed that 8 weeks has already flown by! Michael has today off so he gets to have Baylee all day! (otherwise she would be coming with me to work) He's gona do great with her tho! Speaking of Baylee- I weighed her the other day & she's now 11.3 lbs. (Remember she popped out at 9.1 so she's only gained 2.2 in 8 weeks which is completely fine!) Oh and guess what else? Last night she slept from 10pm-5:30am!! Thats her best record yet!! I thanked God for sure!! Oh & she's already holding her head up so we were also able to put her in her Bumbo seat! I put a pic up of that and of her first beach trip and of her wearing her Chargers jersey! Well alrighty- pray for me & michael today- we both have potentially long days today & could use some extra strength!

The worship from this weekend was awesome, it was real straight up real! After worship we talked about the Baptism! Which brings me to my next point. The Baptism was AMAZING! Three things on my brain

1. The first thing on my mind is that I feel I finally understand the meaning of family. Michael and I have never felt closer to one another! The bond we have with one another is unbreakable! Baylee has brought us together in a way nobody will ever understand! My love for my husband has never grown so deep in my heart! He has shown me such unconditional love this past month! Not that he never did before, but he really has since Baylee has been born. Even if I don’t deserve him being super sweet or super loving—he really really is! The way we both instantly fell in love and felt so close to Baylee is so amazing! She is one month old today; September 12tj, and I feel like she has completed a whole, that God created just for her to fill, in my heart! We are a family, forever, through thick and thin, through the terrible twos—to the crazy teens—we are sticking together!

Another way I feel I understand the meaning of family in a different way is that I somehow feel a different connection to both my mom and my mother in law. I understand the sacrifices they had to make. I understand the sleepless nights they had! I understand the bond they have with their daughters! I understand the love they have for their children! I understand the feelings of being overwhelmed, exhausted, loved, and needed by your child! My mom was such a blessing to have stay with me for 2 weeks! I wish it was longer! Since she has flown back to Georgia—I have called her atleast once a day—and I have gone on skype and done video chats with her & my dad as well! I understand why she loves me so much now—because I love Baylee soo much and it is so easy to do so! As Baylee grows up it is going to be harder and harder to be away from her, God will need to give me extra strength cuz I know I can’t do it on my own! My mother in law, Michelle, has got to be the best one ever created! She isn’t pushy! Doesn’t step on my toes! Isn’t crazy! Never is intrusive! Always says nice things to me—which is so encouraging in this yucky world!! Never makes me feel less of a person for anything I do or say or have done!! Always makes me feel that I am good enough for her son and that I do a good job taking care of him! Sighhhh! She just is amazing and I am very blessed, no-beyond blessed- to have her in my life!

2. The second thing on my mind is MEXICAN FOOD!!!!! I have had to really really really change my diet since I am breastfeeding Baylee and boy oh boy is it hard! (Her stomach is very sensitive to what I eat!) When I was pregnant, we ate Mexican food about 4-5 times A WEEK! I love it! I crave it! I NEEEEED IT! We were regulars at El Charo! They already knew what we would order when we walked in!!! Now they probably think we’re traders and have gone to a different restaurant. Ohh I could really go for an enchilada or taco or just plain ol chips & SALSA!!! I have had to eat plan tortilla chips and just watch everybody else so easily dip their chips in the salsa in front of my face! Oye!

3. The third thing on my mind is the baptism! I am so excited for it! I can’t wait to get up there and mingle with everybody at Sanctuary! Last year was a blast!! I can’t go on the blob this year—since I’m technically stil ‘recovering’ but next year I will for sure!! I can’t wait for Michael to do the baptizing too! What a blessing it will be to watch the man God has given me perform the ‘water baptism’ for some of our youth! I am so excited to see who decides to make this public display! I was moved last year just by the people who got ‘dunked’ and I know this year, especially being all hormonal and all, I’ll be moved to say the least! The youth we have in our group are so dear to my heart and I think watching them make such a bold decision will bring tears of joy to my face!

Well Baylee has been asleep for like 45 min so I better get to bed cuz she’ll be waking up in about ohh 2 hours so I better try to get some shut eye before she demands her next feeding at around 3 am!

Mike Thompson's Series of Fortunate Events.....

Well The Lord is at it again it seems. Yesterday marked the fifth day in the battle to get our house keys. It all started last week when we were told that our house would close escrow and we would receive the keys "Worst Case Friday" (last Friday) well it didn't happen. Anyways to make a long story short yesterday the Lord was awesome and hurried the process and after a couple of phone calls we FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY received our keys!!!! Well now here we are, huge box truck, my truck and Jannae's car all filled to the point of exploding and only my father in law and I to move everything. Enter the Lord....... Now up to this point we thought it would take all night to move until Keith Clayton and his wife Melissa called us up and said they were on their way. Keith & Melissa have been die hard Sanctuaryians from the beginning. They decided to come out and completely Bless Jannae and I by helping us move everything. Keith was an absolute stud, it was like a no holds barred type of service. They helped with everything from unloading to helping with Baylee. While Keith, Bill, and I were unloading Pastor Rod called me and said he was on his way to help. This wasn't a "hey buddy I heard you were moving give me a call when you need help" kinda call when Pastor Rod called he said I'M ON MY WAY! Pastor Rod is also amazing. If he knew I was gonna write this about him he would probably make me take it off but yeah Rod I LOVE YOU. Now Pastor Rod came to my house right after he got off work and started crankin. Imagine if you would Pastor Rod in nice dress clothes, sweating like a mad man and seriously working like it was no ones business. Pastor Rod also Blessed us more than we could of imagined.

Alright Whew that was alot to think about I know....... It gets better. Now part two of the story. We have all our belongings in the house, and it looks like a box fairy came and dropped two tons of junk in our new house. Enter the Lord......... Now like I said before Bill, Rod, Keith and I were the ones unloading everything right? Well Keith and Melissa are die hard O.S.U. fans so they had to take off because the big O.S.U, game was almost on and they wouldn't miss it for the world. So Keith and Melissa were out, also Pastor Rod had other commitments he had to take care of so he was out. Enter the Lord by way of Jeff and Jessica. Now as most of you know Jeff Dillon is like a brother to me, I seriously LOVE this guy. He and his wife Jessica also came as soon as they got off work and came straight out to help. My dad and step mom also showed up, Jannaes Grandparents showed up, my Brother and sister in law showed up, and Nick and Amberlee Goltry showed up. So now our house is filled with junk AND saints. With the help of everyone just mentioned we got the entire kitchen put away, my bed put together, the baby's crib put together, both bathrooms set up, all the furniture organized, the washer and dryer hooked up, and all the blinds fully installed. The Lord definitely had a plan, and that was to completely blow us away with Blessings.

Now here I am, Baylee sleeping on my chest, Jannae sleeping in our bedroom, and me typing all in our new house! It was defiantly a long road to get here but it was extremely worth it! Thank you Lord and thank you all who showed their support in prayer and service. We couldn't have done it without you!

Lil Baylee's Daddy is AMAZING!

Hello all! Jannae here...just stoppin by to say thanks for all the prayers and love for me and Baylee. We are doing very very well! Baylee is even sleeping good already! She slept 4 hours straight 2 nights ago and 5 hours straight last night! Daddy and Mommy really love that! Speaking of Daddy...he's the real reason I am writing this. He has been such a ROCK in this hard time! Doing laundry, dishes, lifting things, caring for Baylee's every need, and especially being there for me!! While in the hospital he was there to help me out of bed, get the nurse if I needed, change Baylee's diapers, feed her while I was still on Morphine, feed me, help me take my first steps to get to the bathroom, help me shower, help me remember to take my meds, pick up things I would drop, and much much more! I have been given strict orders not to drive for 4 weeks and not to lift anything over 10lbs so Michael has really had to do A LOT these past 2 weeks! and really no words I could type could express how thankful I am for having him in my life! No words could ever express the gratitude I have for him being there for Baylee when I wasn't capable of caring for her needs! No words could express how thankful I am for him having a heart like Jesus. Loving like Jesus. This has been the hardest thing I have ever gone through! But Michael constantly is reminding me that God doesn't give us more then we can handle and that in Romans 8:28 it says "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." I really have had to hold tight to this verse knowing that one day, who knows when, that this situation we are in will work out for good!! At dinner the other night with friends: Keith & Melissa, Keith prayed that if one day our story will help encourage someone or lead someone to Christ, then it was all completely worth it! This really spoke to my heart as I have been feeling 'cheated' and wishing over and over again that this was just a bad dream! But really- God had things turn out the way they did to better his Kingdom and that is what I am holding sooo tight to! Well so yea- Michael I love you and appreciate you more now then I ever have! Here's a cute picture I took of Baylee the other day and one of Daddy showing off Baylee's cute white dress!!

Baylee Allison Thompson

Ok, so we get home from the hospital and Baylee is just soooo upset. She would seriously cry for like an hour straight, or until she knocked out. We were nursing her for maybe an hour and a half or two hours at a time and she would scream like bloody murder when we took her off. We finally got to the point where we thought something was wrong with her, so I called Tim and Sandy Stein to see what they thought. Sandy came all the way to our house and totally saved the day. Sandy brought bottles, and pacifiers, and told us what kinda formula to get, basically she was a total God send. After we nursed Baylee again we gave her a small amount of formula and she was in hog heaven. She was completely alert and happy, and best of all wasn't CRYING! SO I just wanted to say THANKS to the Stein family for completely blessing us. You guys will never know how much that means! Thank You!!!

That's right Baylee Allison Thompson born on August 12, 2008 at 09:02 P.M. she is beautiful at 9lbs 1oz and 20.5" She is truly our little miracle. The story surrounding this beautiful little child was CRAZY!

The Following Is Our Story...........

Day 1.
We went to Kaiser Riverside at 07:00 A.M. because Jannae was having major contractions. The midwife came in our room around 08:00 A.M. and checked to see if Jannae had progressed any. To our relief Jannae was dialated to a four. After our initial check the nurses admitted Jannae to the hospital, which meant we wouldn't be leaving without Baylee. Sooooo after several hours (11 to be exact) and alot of epidural The nurse told us it was time to push. Jannae was pushing for about an hour and forty five minutes, when something changed. The baby's heart beat went up to 280 beats per minute and Jannae started bleeding alot. A doctor who was also a surgeon came in extremely frantic and told us that she was going to perform an emergency C-Section because the baby was in distress. Jannae started crying immediately because that was the last thing in the world either one of us wanted. So in less than a minute there was about ten people in our room all with face masks and full body suits on, and in less time than that Jannae was gone. As Jannae was leaving the room all I could do was look in horror as she reached out to me crying her eyes out. After Jannae was rushed out of the room I was left alone in the delivery room. While I was praying and crying in the delivery room, Jannae was being operated on in the room next to me. The "gas" doctor tried to give Jannae another epidural but the medicine wasn't taking effect soon enough so the surgeon told the "gas" doctor "Just knock her out already!" After that was said Jannae doesn't remember very much until she woke up. While that was taking place one of the doctor's in the operating room came running out to grab some kinda instrument. When he came running out I looked into the room to make sure Jannae was okay, and all I saw was Jannae laying on a bed with blood everywhere. At that point I completely lost it and dropped in prayer. While I was praying my brother came in and started comforting me. Then a nurse came in and told me to grab all my belongings and wait in the family waiting room. On the way out of Labor and Delivery the nurse told me she would contact me when the baby was delivered. So there I am just pacing the halls waiting for someone to tell me anything about the well being of either one of my loved ones. Finally after about twenty more minutes a nurse rushed me back to Labor and Delivery where Baylee was being wheeled out of the Operating Room. She introduced me to this beautiful little child, however I was still extremely concerned about Jannae. The nurse told me not to worry but to follow Baylee into the nursery. After I got into the nursery I had three different nurses all working on Baylee at the same time. Every time I tried to touch or hold her someone was telling me that I couldn't. After about an hour in the nursery a nurse came up to me and told me that I had to leave and come back at midnight, I looked at the clock and it was 10:30. So now I've been kicked out of the operating room, kicked out of the delivery room, and kicked out of the nursery so once again I found myself pacing the halls in fear and distress not knowing how either one of my girls were doing. Finally around 11:00 P.M. ish the surgeon came out and told me Jannae was fine and that she was waiting in recovery. As I went into the recovery room I saw Jannae's whole body shaking and when I told her I was there, she started to whimper because she was in tremendous pain. Jannae was coming off of the general anesthetic so her body was reacting to that but at the same time the shaking was making the pain from the incision hurt even worse. I begged and pleaded with the nurses and doctors to give her pain medication but because it was shift change (or something) no one seemed to care. After about fifteen minutes a nurse came in and gave her pain medication but none of it seemed to work. The doctor gave her 210 micro grams of some pain medication she said was ten times stronger than Morphine, but it had no effect on Jannae. So the doctor gave her fifty micro grams of Demerol, which worked for the pain but made Jannae very nauseous and she started dry heaving to throw up but had nothing in her stomach to throw up.

Day 2.
After Jannae stopped gagging, at approximately 01:00 A.M. Baylee was brought into the recovery room, but because Jannae was still in pain she was unable to hold or see her. From there we were walked to a normal hospital-after-delivery-room. When we arrived there Baylee started screaming because she hadn't eaten anything since birth which was about four or five hours and Jannae was crying because of the pain she was in. Jannae was transfered from one bed to another and the nurses began hooking her up to all sorts of machines. Meanwhile Baylee was still crying so I asked the nurse if I could feed her. The nurse told me I would have to wait because Jannae was more important. Around 01:50 A.M. The nurse finally gave me a bottle to feed Baylee and walked away. So now here I am feeding Baylee and trying to wipe Jannae's head with a wet towel to cool her off. All night I had to go from Baylee to Jannae caring for each of their needs. I had to change Baylees diaper, feed, and burp her, swaddle her, and comfort her all the while giving Jannae what she needed like drinking, massaging, comforting, and re adjusting her the whole night. At around 10:00 A.M. Jannae was alert and conscious enough to finally look at and kiss Baylee. The rest of the day went about the same as the night prior up till about 01:30 P.M. When Jannae was able to breastfeed Baylee as long as I held her up and close to her.

Day 3.
Today I was able to leave at 04:00 A.M. to go home shower and get a couple hours of sleep. Jannae is doing much much better she was able to take a shower, walk, and eat solid food. Baylee is doing great eating, pooping, peeing, and screaming! This whole experience has been a real trying and stretching period in our lives, however this child is a true miracle from GOD. Jannae is healing, and Baylee is perfect in every way! GOD has truly had His hand in every step of this process. Although I didn't understand and didn't know why at the time GOD has stuck by us because He is faithful and Love's this Thompson Family more than we'll ever know!

P.S. the reason I blogged about our story is because it is very difficult to try and explain the whole thing to everyone. So this way everyone can know and understand. We Love you all, and can't wait to show off our beauty! In the mean time enjoy these great pics of my precious little daughter!

40 Weeks Pregnant!

Well Jannae is a couple days short of being 40 weeks pregnant and she is LOVING IT! Its kinda weird the aches and pains you have to randomly endure throughout the day and night. The baby will try to stretch out and push Jannae's bladder into her spine which forces her liver into her chest and tweaks the kidneys into her side. Its all a real fun experience to have a baby growing inside your belly. But you know what is even more fun people constantly asking or saying "My goodness NO baby yet?" Like Jannae isn't already completely aware of the fact that her belly is the size of two basketballs and that she still hasn't had the baby yet. I think what we'll start doing is looking at her belly with a disgusting look on our face and saying "Oh my gosh I completely forgot she's pregnant!!!" Anyways I'm just being sarcastic because both Jannae and I are completely ready for Baylee to come into this world. Here are some pictures of Jannae's pregnancy!

Huntington Beach Trip 08'

This year's beach trip was awesome. We had a total of 22 people go, we had a blast hanging out and having fun. We played Bocce Ball, Football, and went boogie boarding. Not only did we have fun but it was an awesome time to connect with the Lord. We had worship and a short message on the beach. The time we spent singing worship and hearing from the word was so intimate and awesome. Right after the message we had a bonfire and some smores. This trip will definitely go down as one of the best days I have had spending time with the youth from the Sanctuary Lounge! Thanks Guys!

p.s. If you missed out on this years trip I highly encourage you to attend next year. You never know it might be you who gets to walk on water!

Wipe Out

Ok- So there's this new show called WipeOut on ABC Tuesday nights at 8pm. I look forward to watching it every week! Michael and I laugh so hard as we watch it! It brings some much needed humor to our busy lives! I laugh so hard that Michael said last week "Jannae-we're gona have to start watching this during the day-cuz you laugh to loud and are gona wake up our neighbors!!" It's just pretty much people going through some ridiculous obstacle courses and the commentary by WipeOut's hosts is just priceless!!! So go write yourself a reminder to watch it next week cuz you won't regret it!! Set your TiVo to record it! Obedience

I never understood what this meant until last night. ( I am still learning about it) So for several weeks I have had it on my heart to get down on my knees and pray with my wife about God's will in our lives and the house that we would move into. As I thought about this and pictured my self on my knees praying I said man that will look so funny what will my wife think of me asking her do do that with me this is silly. So I kinda put it on the back burner. So last night I said Jess turn off the tv and lets get on our knees and pray. She did not question anything about it. We prayed for a longtime. I prayed that God would show us his will, and that he would give us this house we put an offer on. I find looking for and feeling out God's will to be the hardest part of being a Christian. Today when Jess called me and said that the bank accepted the offer on the house I was ecstatic. This is what it means to be obedient when you have a calling on your heart do not ignore it. God will bless you for being in tune to what He asks.

Lounge Overnighter 08!

This last weekend was our Overnighter at Mile High Pines. We had a total of 17 youth, and 8 leaders go. We had an absolute BLAST! We played games, had in depth messages, and most importantly connected with GOD. I was totally blessed by our awesome youth and the stories they had to tell while we were up the hill. I didn't expect to have as much fun as I did, I honestly thought that this camp was going to be a chore. The Lord really opened my eyes and heart to see the genuine work He is doing in the lives of every single youth that went. I'm truly thankful for the youth and the love they show all of us here in the Lounge!

the mother's womb

Can you imagine if we really had to re-enter our mother's womb? I know that I, Jannae, would go crazy! Having Baylee inside of me 1 time seems to be just enough...Thank you Jesus for die-ing for us so that we can be reborn through you and you alone!!! I am very thankful that Nicodemus asked this question..what if he didn't? Would we be wondering how to get the massive human being back into his mother's womb? I love how in verse 5 Jesus just repeats himself- "I tell you the truth"...I picture him saying this so calmly and with much patience...I need more patience like this...seriously though-Take a minute to thank Jesus today for die-ing on the cross for our sins and making a way for us to truly be 'born again!' We take that so for granted...don't we?

THE GLIDER!

Well for those of you who don't know what a glider is it's a new and improved version of the classic rocking chair. Instead of forcing yourself back and forth like a rocking chair, you glide effortlessly back and forth, kinda like riding in a caddy. Well we ordered this deluxe glider from Babies R Us OOOOOOOhhhhhhh about 9 weeks ago. When we originally saw this glider we were absolutely stoked on it, it is sooo comfortable and when you sit in it you feel like you're riding a cloud. Anyways we were told that it would be in the store several weeks ago, but finally finally finally we just received it! So needless to say the prego will be extremely happy to finally relieve some pressure from those swollen feet, by coming home and melting into her glider. Yaay for the glider!

Man o Man am I blessed. We just had a meeting with "The Core." The Core is the serving body we have at the Lounge. It consists of Jannae, Jeff, Jessica, Jill, Lisa, Matt, Tommy, Kristin, and myself. We like to get together and discuss what we've been doing and where we are going; and I have to tell you, Iam super stoaked about what God is doing in and through this youth group. Iam also extremely blessed to have such an awesome group constantly praying for the youth and for my wife and I. This is Sanctuary Church saying Thank You For EVERYTHING YOU DO!

God Is Soooo Good!

This last Sunday we continued through our series on the different names of God. Jeff blessed us with who God is in Jehovah-Rohi, or God our Shepard. But the really cool part of that was after the message, during small groups we had five of our guys give their lives to the Lord!!! Man what a cool time that was to see Gods hand on these young men, leading and encouraging them into a life filled with Him!

Matthew 10:32-33

Jesus speaking. "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven."

Our guys not only raised their hands to accept the Lord, but they raised them in front of their peers. They truly stepped it up showing they were ready to take the next step in their Christian lives!

After church we all got together for our second Lounge Luau, which by the way was awesome. We got to see our youth really open up with one another, and with us. It was really cool to see them having fun with each other, and it was a total blessing to see their true personalities come out. Every time we get together with our students we are totally blown away with how the Lord is working in their lives. I just want to say thanks to our awesome youth. You guys are awesome!!!

so today I came accross this picture of Michael propsing to me...sometimes it's just good to reflect on those good memories...reflect on all that has taken place in the past 2 years...reflect on the direction God is still taking us...reflect on the love that started then but has grown into something way deeper now...reflect on all that we have accomplished...reflect on the man that God has given me to serve, love, respect, trust, and encourage! With all the baby excitement qnd family drama and trauma, it was just good for me to sit, look at that picture, and rejoice in the man God has given me! To take a minute to regain my focus and feel a fresh touch!

today I, Jannae, drank 2 liters of water! that doesn't seem like very much when I type it but it would seem like a lot if i said i drank a 2 liter bottle of dr. pepper. do you like to drink water? i do but sometimes i just need some flavor...like lemon, or orange you know what I mean? i could drink water con lemon all day! and of course I have made many trips to the bathroom, but that's ok! do you ever notice that most of my blogs end up being about some sort of beverage or food item? i guess that's what happens when you are prego! but maybe it's just because i like to share my thoughts on beverages and food!? either way...go poor yourself some water and feel refreshed like i do! you won't regret it-God created it!

Yea so you see this old guy up here in this picture-Well he's some sort of golfing legend I guess! and he got to have his own drink named after him! it's called Arnold Palmer. For those of you who aren't familiar with this drink: it's very simple: all you need is *a glass *some ice *iced tea *lemonade & *a straw! Put the ice in the glass, then fill the glass a little bit more then 1/2way up with lemonade, then add the iced tea on top, place straw in the concoction and sip away til your heart’s content! the reason I am writing about this is well because I am addicted to these things! I know that iced tea has caffeine in it, I really do know that, but I really don't care. Our lil Baylee's already going to come out hyper-I mean come on, she came from me and Michael! she's gona be nutso! So yea I love them so much that I have brought my own supply to work with me. Out in the refrigerator I have 1liter of Lemonade, and 2 glasses of Lipton, unsweetened, black iced tea! If you ever want to butter me up for something, bring me one of these things! They are amazing! You can order them at Starbucks too! oh and at most restaurants-oh but don't try it with the pink lemonade YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's so gross that way! only yellow colored lemonade! alright well im going to go make one now! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! See you Sunday!

88 degrees and sneezing

In Redlands today it got up to 88 degrees. that's stinkin hot! I hate being hot! I had to turn my air conditioning on full blast! (Which means I have to turn up the radio louder so that I can hear it since the MAX AC is pretty noisy!) I looked up Phoenix AZ and it was only 79 there! and Death Valley was only 83. How does lil ol Redlands top all that? CRAZY! I wore long jeans today too! ugh! My feet are already swelling, barely fit them into my shoes today, couldn’t fit them into a tight pair of flip flops. and a cute pair of flip flops they were too. Baylee’s been moving a lot inside of me. Michael’s been able to feel her a lot too. It’s pretty amazing to think that there’s a lil baby rolling around inside of me trying to get comfortable. I bet she hates it when I laugh all load or sneeze! Can you just imagine what it would feel like to be inside of somebody when they sneezed? Talk about a huge earthquake-off the richter scale! So the next time you sneeze say a prayer for our lil Baylee: that she will be healthy inside of me and have a safe delivery! (pray for her mommy too, she’s scared of that whole delivery thing! way scared!)

Anniversary

Well Y'all Jannae and I just returned home from celebrating our 1 year anniversary!! Yeah Thats right one whole year all ready. Man as I look back on this last year, I feel soo blessed. People always say the first year is the hardest, well I have to say if this is as bad as it gets, Jannae and I will have a lifetime of extreme bliss and JOY. This year has been a great year of growing and learning. The more I know about Jannae the more I know, how much I don't know. Anyways I can't be more blessed to have someone like Jannae. Jannae is like Song of Songs 1:8 "Most beautiful of women!" I love my beautiful, talented, smart, wonderful wife!

Yup! that's right! this prego chick got her 1st ever speeding ticket!! i was on my way into Jurupa/Riverside to pick up some new banners for work and less than 1 mile from my destination I was driving through a construction zone and BAM! he got me! I was going 37 in a 25. I was really nice to the guy and I didn't even pull the "MY HUSBAND'S A COP CARD!!!" but it didn’t matter how nice I was, he still just went back to his lil motorcycle and wrote me a ticket...when he handed it to me I said...um what do I do with this now? He told me that I'll get some info in the mail...so of course as I am pulling away I start to BALLLLL my eyes out! What a scary experience getting a ticket is...especially when you've never had one before! I guess the next step now is to well 1st of all down and then just wait til I get somethin in the mail and Ill do some sort of online traffic school! What a bummer to my Friday! Baylee was freaking out when I was crying! It felt like there was a washing machine in my tummy! rollin rollin....rollin rollin!

Michelle's sister Tara works at Redlands Community Hospital in the ultrasound department. Well Michelle was looking at our pictures from this blog and saw something our doctor didn't see before. So Michelle took the pictures to Tara, which inturn took the pictures to her doctor and found out that in fact its a stinkin BOY!!!!! So um yeah I guess just say hi to Ezekiel David Thompson!

Every year around this time I get so anxious for Summer to start that I never actually enjoy Spring. The weather outside is perfect and I don't know why I don't just enjoy it! I always focus on the season to come...SUMMER! I think about all the fun activities that take place in Summer, all the fun foods- like watermelon and strawberries, all the beach trips, all the bon fires, all the wake boarding, all the water fights, all the vacations! but really what really happens in Summer? it's BLAZING HOT! I get sunburned on a daily basis, even just from walking out to get the mail, I hate being hot, I get so uncomfortable! Sooooo I've decided to just take a little time to enjoy Spring...where it's not too hot and not too cold. I don't get sunburned. I don't have to be uncomfortably hot and I don't sweat so much that I need 5 showers a day! So here I am Spring...enjoying you! You are amazing-God knew what He was doing when he designed you!
